IHRC GHANA CELEBRATES WORLD PRESS FREEDOM DAY

As we mark this important day worldwide to recognize the significance of press freedom, the IHRC Ghana wishes to express our profound gratitude to our gallant men and women in the media/journalists who sacrifice their lives and budgets daily to promote the rights and freedom of mankind in Ghana and beyond. We say Ayekoo! May the Good Lord grant you wisdom and security, especially in these difficult times of COVID 19 pandemic.

We are using this opportunity to also appeal to the government of Ghana to investigate and bring to book the perpetrators of all human rights assault cases reported in Ghana, most especially those who were assaulted during the "partial lockdown" and the reported cases of assault on some of our journalists in their line of duty.
