GHANA OFFICE OF THE INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION, GENEVA RAISES CONCERNS

The Ghana office of the International Human Rights Commission, Geneva Switzerland, an official accredited human rights Observer and organization monitoring the Ghana 2020 general elections wish to thank Ghanaians for their massive participation in the general elections, especially our hardworking observers deployed to various centers in the country.

In spite of the successful conduct of the 2020 general elections, IHRC has received reports of some brutalities, assaults and irregularities in some polling and collation centers. While we are investigating these issues, we wish to condemn the acts and once again call on Electoral Commission to continue to be transparent and fair in managing the results of the elections in order not to denial the will of Ghanaians.

We also call on all Ghanaians to be calm and wait for the Electoral Commission to declare the result.
